Technical Ceramics
PCL has developed considerable experience in pressure casting and demoulding technical ceramics including alumina, fused silica, silicon carbide and other oxide and non-oxide bodies.
Pressure casting can provide the following benefits:
• Negligible contamination of the product
• Higher and more uniform green density giving more homogenous physical properties in the fired piece
• Tight dimensional tolerances reducing expensive and difficult post finishing processes.
