Installation and Commissioning
Close integration between moulds and machinery is assured. Installation and commissioning times are minimised and manufacturers can realize the benefits from PCL systems immediately from the time of initial installation. The successful introduction and use of any new technology requires that the customer and the technology supplier work closely together in partnership throughout the entire life of the project.
PCL Ceramics will provide services to install and commission the casting system including :
Installation
PCL Ceramics engineers will supervise and work with your personnel or contractors to accomplish the following tasks:
• Moving the equipment to the installation location • Assembly and securing/fixing of the equipment
• Positioning of the equipment in the installation location
• Connection of the services and interconnection between all of the equipment • Hanging moulds
You will provide all the equipment, labour and insurance required to unload, position and install the machine and moulds in the factory.
Commissioning
PCL Ceramics will perform the following tasks:
• Testing the services are within specifications [air,water,power]• Alignment of moulds
• Powering up the equipment with the services • Testing all safety circuits on the machines
• Pressure testing the equipment [air,water,slip,hydraulic]
• Preparation of the moulds for casting [stop setting] • Test casting the machine with the moulds
• Adjustment of machine parameters to optimise the process
